The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is in 14th place after two rounds at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in Kansas.
The Titans shot a 302 in the second round Wednesday at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas.
Jamie Smith shot a 2-over 74 in the second round and is tied for 38th overall. Smith shot even par on the front nine with two birdies and two bogeys. He finished the back nine with a birdie to shoot a 38.
Sean Jacoby shot a 3-over 75 while Nolan Hyatt had a 4-over 76.
Horace Pennix struggled a bit on the front nine, posting a 5-over and is tied for 26th overall at 6-over for the tournament. Daniel Byers finished with a 6-over 78.
Indian Hills Community College shot a 291 to remain in first place with McLennan Community College shooting a 281 and is in second place.
The Titans will tee off in the third round of the tournament beginning at 10:10 a.m.
