Men's golf team leads at Bantams Invitational in South Carolina

The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is leading the Bantams Invitational at Lakeside Country Club in South Carolina.
The Titans shot a 313 in the first round and leads Columbia College by five strokes heading into the final round.
Freshman Jamie Smith is tied fir first place with two other players at 1-over par 73. Smith rebounded from a bad stretch on the back nine with four birdies in the final seven holes.
Sean Jacoby is tied for sixth with two others at 6-over par while Horace Pennix is tied for 10th at 8-over 80. Trey Farnsworth shot an 82 and Nolan Hyatt had an 87.
"Tough conditions today, 39 degrees at the finish of play. Awesome job by Jamie," Eastern Florida State College men's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
The final round of the tournament will tee off at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Lakeside Country Club in Laurens, South Carolina.
