Men's golf team heads to final round in hunt at Titan Winter Invitational

The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is in third place after the first two rounds of the Titan Winter Invitational at Suntree Country Club.
The Titans had a good morning round, shooting 4-over 292 as a team and led heading into the afternoon round. Eastern Florida State College would shoot a 307 in the afternoon and are four strokes behind leader Keiser University who shot 5-over in the afternoon and sit at 595 after two rounds.
Webber International is one stroke ahead of the Titans, heading into the final round at 598.
Jamie Smith shot a 69 in the first round and then a 76 in the second round heading into the final round in fourth place overall. Nolan Hyatt shot a 74 in the first round and followed it up with a 76 in the second round.
Trey Farnsworth also had a 74 in the morning round but struggled a bit in the afternoon, shooting an 82. Sean Jacoby shot a 75 and then a 79 for a 154 while Daniel Byers shot a pair of 76s on the first day.
For the white team, Zach McGoffin had rounds of 75 and 77 on Monday while Andrew Ball shot rounds of 79 and 78. Josh Bibby shot an 81 in the morning round but bounced back with a 76 in the afternoon round while Horace Pennix had an 81 and then a 77.
Keiser's Yann Ferrando is the only player under par after rounds of even par and 1-under on Monday.
The final round of the tournament is scheduled to tee off at 8:15 a.m. at Suntree Country Club's Classic Course.
