Men's basketball team hits road for conference game

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will be back in action Saturday, heading to Hillsborough Community College for a Citrus Conference matchup.
The Titans come into the road game on an eight-game win streak and are in third place in the conference standings while Hillsborough Community College has lost five.
Eastern Florida State College won the first meeting at Titan Field House 94-79 and are 9-1 in their past 10 games.
Sean Register Jr. continues to lead the FCSAA in scoring, averaging 25.1 points per game and has had at least 27 points in each of the past seven games. Register is fifth in the state in rebounding, averaging 8.6 rebounds per game.
Teammate Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo leads the FCSAA in free throw shooting, making 88.3 percent of his free throws and is averaging 12.4 points per game. Misael Cruz-Rodriguez was named the NJCAA Division I Player of the Week, averaging 17 points in the two games last week and comes into the matchup averaging 13.1 points this season.
Hillsborough's Chandler Davis is second in the state in scoring, averaging 21.2 points per game this season.
