Men's basketball team home Wednesday for key conference game

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team is back at Titan Field House Wednesday evening for a key Citrus Conference game.
The Titans have won six straight games and will host Santa Fe College in a key conference game at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Florida State College is now in third place in the conference standings while Santa Fe is in fourth and has won three of the past four games, coming off a loss against No. 15 Daytona State College on Saturday.
Freshman Sean Register Jr. was named the FCSAA Division I Player of the Week after another big week for the Titans. The forward comes into the matchup averaging an FCSAA-best 24.8 points this season. He has scored at least 21 points in each of the past eight games and has recorded 10 double-doubles.
Teammates Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo and Misael Cruz Rodriguez both come into the game averaging 12 points per game.
Santa Fe comes in as one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the state, hitting 35 percent of their shots this season. Tre Dubois is averaging 14.5 points and is hitting53.2 percent of his 3-pointers. He had a 30-point game in the first meeting with the Titans. Teammate Moses Horne is averaging 12 points this season and has scored at least 11 points in each of the past three games.
