Men's basketball team takes on Daytona State Wednesday night

Two of the hottest teams in the Citrus Conference will meet at Titan Field House when the Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will take on No. 12 Daytona State College on Wednesday.
The Titans have won four straight games and are now 5-3 in the conference while Daytona State College is 7-1 in the conference and have won three straight coming into the matchup.
Wednesday night's game will begin around 7 p.m. after the women's basketball game and will be live on WEFS-TV as well as online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
Eastern Florida State College is leading the FCSAA in scoring, averaging 92.1 points per game this season. The Titans have five players averaging nine points led by Sean Register Jr who is leading the FCSAA in scoring, averaging 24.4 points per game. The freshman has scored 21 points or more in six straight games and is third in the nation in scoring.
Daytona State College is a perfect 7-0 on the road this season and is right behind the Titans in scoring, averaging 91.7 points per game as four people are averaging nine points or better led by Noah Mendy who is averaging 17.2 points per game this season.
The Falcons won the first meeting 96-83, using a big run in the first half to claim the win. Five Falcons had at least 11 points in that game led by Seydina N'Diaye with 16 points off the bench.
