Men's basketball team hosts Polk State Saturday in conference game

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will be back at Titan Field House Saturday afternoon for a Citrus Conference game.
The Titans, who improved to 4-3 in the conference, will host Polk State College at 4 p.m. It will be the first matchup between the two teams this season and marks the halfway point of the conference season.
Polk State College comes to Titan Field House looking for their first conference win and are on a 14-game losing streak. Eric Dailey is leading the Eagles in scoring, averaging 17.2 points per game while teammate Isaiah McCray is scoring 16.2 points per game.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the contest on a three-game win streak and was led by Sean Register Jr. on Wednesday. The freshman scored 29 points in a win over St. Petersburg College.
Register Jr. is averaging 24.3 points per game in 21 games which leads the FCSAA and is third overall in the NJCAA Division I.
Teammate Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo is leading the FCSAA in free throw shooting, shooting 90 percent from the free throw line. Acevedo-Arroyo is averaging 12.6 points per game which is second on the team. Teammate Misael Cruz Rodriguez is also averaging 12 points per game in the eight games he has played in this season.
Saturday's game will begin after the women's basketball game, tipping off around 4 p.m. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House and fans can watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
