The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will hit the road for a Citrus Conference game at Santa Fe College.
The Titans come into the matchup looking to pick up their first conference win after a close loss to Miami Dade College at home on Wednesday.
Santa Fe is also coming off a loss, falling to No. 9 Daytona State College on Wednesday. The Saints are 1-1 in the conference and 12-3 overall and are led by a trio of players averaging 12 points or more this season.
Tre Dubois is averaging 15.1 points per game and has scored at least 13 in each of the past four games. Teammate Moses Horne is averaging 13 and Alex Pierre-Louis is averaging 12 through 14 games.
Santa Fe is averaging 92.7 points per game this season and allowing 68.8, both among the top six in the FCSAA. On Wednesday night they held a Daytona State team that is averaging 94.1 points per game to just 78.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup averaging 93.4 points per game and is led by Sean Register Jr., who is second in the FCSAA in scoring, averaging 23.6 points per game. Register was named the NJCAA Division I National Player of the Week and is fifth in the nation in scoring. Register is also averaging 8.8 rebounds per game and recorded his seventh double-double of the season on Wednesday.
Four Titans are averaging at least 10 points per game this season as Tyson Wilson is averaging 10 points, 4.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game. The sophomore is fourth in the FCSAA in steals with 35.
