Register Jr. named FCSAA Division I Player of Week

Eastern Florida State College men's basketball player Sean Register Jr. was named the FCSAA Division I Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The freshman from Cleveland, Ohio had a big weekend at the Sparky Reeves Classic in Georgia and is honored for the second time this season.

Register scored 29 points and grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds in a win Friday against East Georgia State College and then scored 24 points and had nine rebounds and a couple of assists in an 88-81 loss to host South Georgia Tech.

For the season Register is averaging 24.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game to help the Titans to a 6-2 start to the season.

Eastern Florida State College will take a break for the holiday before traveling to Tallahassee on December 6 to face No. 2 Northwest Florida State College at 4 p.m.
