The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team hits the road for a conference game Wednesday night.
The No. 19 Titans have won five straight heading into the matchup with Santa Fe College who is battling for a spot in the postseason.
The Saints are 2-2 in the last four games and are led by Karmello Branch who is averaging 23.2 points per game this season and had 25 in the first meeting. The 23.2 points per game by Branch leads the FCSAA and he has scored 20-plus points in 15 games. Teammate Connor Morris is averaging 11 points per game.
All five starters scored in double figures in the first meeting led by Emondrek Erkins-Ford who had 18 points and nine rebounds. Erkins-Ford comes into the matchup averaging 16.2 points and 7.1 rebounds. Teammate Fredy-Salam Sylla had a double-double in that game with 11 points and 12 rebounds. He is averaging 13.5 points and 7.4 rebounds and has scored at least 14 points in each of the past five games.
Eastern Florida State College is 9-1 in the conference and is 20-3 overall this season.
Wednesday night's game will begin after the women's game at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live online at the Saints Sports Network on the Santa Fe athletics Web site.
