Men's basketball team hosts Indian River State College in conference matchup

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will host Indian River State College in a Citrus Conference game Wednesday night.

The No. 21 ranked Titans come into the game 2-1 in the conference and 14-3 overall while Indian River State College is looking for their first conference win after falling in the first two road games.

Eastern Florida State College sophomore Owen Aquino is coming into the contest averaging 18 points per game in the three conference games this season. For the season, Aquino is averaging 14.9 points and 8.5 rebounds. Teammates Matija Zuzic and Luca Colceag each come into Wednesday's game averaging 12 points per game.

Indian River State College, who is 13-2 overall, is averaging 104.5 points per game this season. Mostapha El Moutaouakkil is second in Region 8 in scoring this season, averaging 27.7 points per game and 6.4 rebounds. Teammates Mykol Sanchez is averaging 16.4 points per game and Jayshayne Woodard is averaging 15 points a game. Woodard is second in Region 8 in rebounding, averaging 9.9 rebounds per game.

Wednesday's game will begin at 7:30 p.m. and admission to games at Titan Field House is free. The game will also be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
