Men's basketball team hits road for key conference game

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will travel to Santa Fe College for a Central Conference game on Saturday.

The Titans come into the matchup tied for first place at 6-1 in the conference and is 16-6 overall. Eastern Florida State College has won six straight and won the first meeting this season with the Saints.

Santa Fe is 4-2 in the conference and 16-4 on the season, winning the past three games. The Saints are the third-highest scoring team in the state, averaging 83 points per game and are allowing just 67 points per game this season.

Eastern Florida State College has six players averaging at least eight points per game this season. The Titans are allowing just 64.7 points per game this season which is fifth in the state.
