The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team had five players named to the all-Central Conference team.
Nick Alves and Christyon Eugene were both named to the first team while Ja'Darius Harris, Brody Boyer and Vlad Salaridze all made the second team.
Head coach Jeremy Shulman was named the coach of the year in the conference, leading the Titans to a 14-2 record.
Alves, who is the NJCAA Region VIII Player of the Week, averaged 14.4 points in conference games this season and hit 47.2 percent of his 3-pointers during conference games. The redshirt sophomore from Melbourne is averaging 13.2 points per game in 17 games this season.
Eugene averaged 11.8 points per game in conference games and is averaging 12.1 per game in 19 games this season. The sophomore from Spring, Texas has started 18 games this season for the Titans and is averaging 4.7 rebounds to go with a team-leading 27 steals.
Boyer started all 20 games for the Titans, averaging 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. The sophomore from Palm Bay has hit 40 percent of his 3-pointers and his 74 assists are the best on the team.
Harris is averaging 10.6 points in 12 games this season. The sophomore from Trenton, Tennessee hit 46 percent of his shots.
Salaridze is averaging seven points and six rebounds in his freshman season for the Titans. The Seattle, Washington native has grabbed a team-high 129 rebounds which is 11th in the state. In conference games he has been even better, averaging eight points and grabbed seven rebounds per game.
The Titans will wrap up the regular season this week with home games against Central Pointe Academy at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and then play Time to Ball Prep Friday at 4 p.m. The men's basketball team will play in the FCSAA State Tournament next week in Niceville.
