Wednesday night is home opener for men's basketball team

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will be at Titan Field House for the first time this season Wednesday night.

The Titans, who are No. 5 in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll, will open the home part of the schedule against TLAP Prep at 7 p.m.

Eastern Florida State College is 0-2 on the season and is led by sophomore Jonathan Ned who comes into the home opener averaging 11.5 points and six rebounds per game.

It is the first of two home games this week for the Titans who will host Central Pointe Post Grad Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Admission to games at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus are free.
