For the second straight week Eastern Florida State College men's basketball player Ahmed Ali was named the Region 8 Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 26.
The sophomore from Toronto Canada scored 37 points with six rebounds, six assists and four steals in a 122-102 victory over Miami Dade.
On the season, Ali is averaging 20.3 points and 4.3 assists per game for the Titans.
The Titans are 7-1 and No. 4 in the latest Region 8 Coaches poll. They will travel to ASA Miami on Wednesday before returning to Titan Field House on Friday and Saturday for the Jim Grimes Classic.
