Ahmed Ali named Region 8 Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Eastern Florida State College men's basketball player Ahmed Ali was named the Region 8 Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 19.

Ali averaged 20 points and four assists last week in three games, helping the Titans to a perfect week. For the season, the sophomore point guard is averaging 20.5 points and 3.5 assists per game.

The Titans are 7-1 and No. 4 in the latest Region 8 Coaches poll. They will travel to ASA Miami on Nov. 29 before returning to Titan Field House on Dec 1 and 2 for the Jim Grimes Classic.
