Baseball team to host doubleheader Tuesday afternoon

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will be back at Bruce Bochy Field Tuesday afternoon for a doubleheader.

The Titans, who have started the season 7-3 on the season, will host Warner University JV in a pair of seven innings games beginning at 3 p.m. It will be the last games before the start of the Citrus Conference season as they will open a three-game series with Hillsborough Community College beginning Thursday on the road.

Sophomore Bo Tabola had a big week last week, going 7-for-9 in two games and is hitting .387 in nine games this season. Teammate Jeff Davis is hitting .321 with a couple of doubles and a triple. As a team the Titans are hitting .285 this season.

Tuesday's doubleheader at Bruce Bochy Field begins at 3 p.m. and admission is free. Fans can also watch the games live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
