Baseball team opens series Thursday at SCF-Manatee

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will open a key Citrus Conference series at the State College of Florida, Manatee on Thursday.

The Titans, who are 12-15 in the conference, come into the matchup hitting .295 and are led by Hector Mangual who is hitting .350 while teammate Laheim Bell is hitting .340.

The State College of Florida, Manatee comes into the series 13-14 in the conference and is hitting .300 as a team. Jalen Hairston leads the team offensively, hitting .379 with 11 doubles and five home runs this season.

Thursday's game will begin at 6 p.m.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at Bruce Bochy Field for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Admission is free to home games and you can watch the games live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
