Baseball team hits road for game Tuesday

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will travel to Indian River State College for a non-conference match on Tuesday.

The Titans, who are 15-14-1 on the season, kick off a big week of games with the non-conference game against the Pioneers, who are 21-7 on the season and have won eight games in a row. They are receiving votes in this week's NJCAA Division I National Poll.

Eastern Florida State College is hitting .299 this season. Hector Mangual is hitting .360 in 25 games for the Titans while teammate Adrian Dominguez is hitting .340 with a team-high 12 doubles.

Indian River State College is hitting .319 as a team and is led by Matthew Rubin who is hitting .378 this season with six home runs.

Tuesday's game will begin at 5 p.m. at Indian River State College.
