The Eastern Florida State College baseball team got another strong start from Pablo Barquero in an 8-5 victory over ASA Miami on Friday night at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans left-hander allowed one run in six innings, striking out nine to pick up his second win of the season.
Leadoff hitter Steven Lugo had four hits, drove in three and scored twice while Bryan Pena had a solo home run and an RBI triple in the win.
Eastern Florida State College, who improved to 14-10 on the season, will host Rollins College JV on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Bruce Bochy Field. Admission is free.
