The Eastern Florida State College baseball team fell 3-0 at the Florida State College at Jacksonville Friday afternoon.
Starting pitcher Carter Stewart struck out six in three innings without allowing a run. Chris Vervoordt had two hits as the Titans fell to 5-7 on the season.
The baseball team will be back at Bruce Bochy Field Saturday afternoon against Polk State College who is 6-6 on the season and won the first matchup 6-2. First pitch is 1 p.m. and admission is free.
