Baseball team home for two games this week

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team have a busy week with home games on both Wednesday and Thursday evening.

The Titans are 1-1 and are coming off an 11-inning win against Polk State. They will host Seminole State College Wednesday night after Monday's game at Seminole State was cancelled. Seminole State College is looking for their first win of the season, coming in 0-3. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and admission is free.

Eastern Florida State College comes into the week hitting .265 as a team led by sophomores Dylan Owens and Cristian Sanjurjo who are both hitting over .400.

The Titans will host FSC-Manatee Sarasota on Thursday evening at 5 p.m. Manatee Sarasota comes into the matchup 2-1 on the season and are hitting .384 as a team.

They will be at FSC-Manatee Sarasota on Friday afternoon and then travel to Lake Sumter State College on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
