Every Eastern Florida State College baseball starter scored a run Tuesday night as the Titans defeated ASA Miami for win No. 25 on the season.
The Titans jumped out to a big lead, scoring five times in the second inning and cruised to a 15-4 win in the non-conference game.
Leadoff hitter Norberto Navarro came to the plate with the bases loaded and ripped a 1-0 pitch over the left fielder's head for a three-run double to open the scoring in the bottom of the second inning. Navarro would score on Sebastian Rivera's single and then Rivera scored on Sammy Duran's single.
The Titans would score in every inning the rest of the way as ASA Miami walked 12 hitters and hit three others to go with the Titans 13 hits.
Lisle finished with three hits and scored four runs while Navarro, Jasson Corniel and Duran each had two hits. Navarro stole four bases in the game.
Chandellor Benton picked up the win, allowing one run over five innings, striking out six.
The Titans, who improved to 25-14 on the season, will host Elev8 at 3 p.m. Wednesday before returning to Southern Conference action Friday against Broward College.
