Titans baseball team tops Polk State
The Eastern Florida State College baseball team defeated Polk State 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team got another solid start from Chandellor Benton and defeated Polk State 3-1 to improve to 9-4 on the season.
Benton tossed 5 2/3 innings, allowing one run for his third win of the season.
The Titans got on the board in the third inning as Elian Merejo drove in two runs with a single up the middle. Polk State threatened in the bottom of the third but Benton struck out the final two to keep the Eagles scoreless.
The Titans would add a run in the eighth inning as Dylan Owen hit an RBI single.
Eastern Florida State College will travel to Daytona State College on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. game.
