Tommy Romero was nearly unhittable Thursday night, guiding the Eastern Florida State College baseball team to a 6-3 victory over Florida State College of Jacksonville.
Romero had a no-hitter through six innings and finished with seven strong innings, allowing one hit and striking out 11 to pick up the win.
Jasson Corniel led the offensive attack going 3-for-4 with four runs batted in while Ian Acevedo and Elian Merejo each had two hits in the win.
The Titans, who are now 6-2 on the season, will travel to the College of Central Florida on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game. They will be back at Bruce Bochy Field Wednesdya night when they host Daytona State College at 4 p.m.
