The Eastern Florida State College baseball team battled back but could not tie the game, losing to Seminole State College 4-3 Wednesday afternoon.
Seminole State scored four runs in the bottom of the third, but Eastern Florida came right back with two runs in the top of the fourth on a two-run home run by Ian Lisle. Sammy Duran cut the lead to one run with an RBI in the eighth inning but could not find the big hit to tie the game.
Duran and Jasson Corniel each had two hits in the game for the Titans, who are now 2-2 on the season.
Eastern Florida will be back at Bruce Bochy Field at 3 p.m. Friday against Elev8.
