The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost its home opener 5-2 to Polk State College Saturday afternoon at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans, who are now 1-1, allowed three unearned runs in the second inning and could not get back into the game. Ryan Lang pitched six solid innings for the Titans, allowing one earned run on just three hits. Offensively, Anthony Martinez had two of the team's five hits.
Eastern Florida State College will travel to Hillsborough on Sunday before hosting Seminole State College at 5 p.m. Monday at Bruce Bochy Field on the Melbourne campus.
