It was a tough night for the Eastern Florida State College baseball team, which lost 6-5 to visiting ASA Miami Wednesday night at Bruce Bochy Field on the Melbourne campus.
Manny Rodriguez was 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Titans (19-11).
Sammy Duran went 3 for 5 with an RBI and Vinny Capra had three hits – including a double – to go with two RBIs.
Gian Jimenez had two hits, including a double. Angel Velez and Ruben Garcia both had two hits for EFSC.
The Titans will next face Indian River State College in a home-and-home Southern Conference series. The first game is Friday at IRSC at 3 p.m. with the return game at Bruce Bochy Field on Saturday at 2 p.m.
