EFSC sports teams back in action after storm

The Eastern Florida State College fall sports teams will be back in action this week after cancelling events last week due to Hurricane Dorian. 

The men's golf team is opening the fall season in Alabama Monday, playing in the Dan York Memorial Tournament in Jasper, Alabama. The Titans come into the event No. 5 in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I preseason poll after finishing tied for seventh in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament at Duran Golf Club in Viera.

The volleyball team is off to a 4-1 start to the season and will be home for the first time this season on Wednesday night, hosting Indian River State College at 6 p.m. Then the volleyball team will travel to Jacksonville for the FSC-Jacksonville tournament on Friday and Saturday.

The women's soccer team will travel to Tennessee this weekend to play Columbia State Community College on Saturday. The Titans enter the game 1-0 and No. 3 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.

The men's soccer team will be back at Titan Soccer Complex Sunday afternoon, hosting Georgia Military at 1 p.m. in a big regional matchup. The Titans are 3-1 overall and No. 5 in the NJCAA Division I poll.

The women's tennis team will open the fall season on Friday traveling to West Palm Beach for the Sailfish Invitational Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The women's golf team will also open the fall season this weekend, traveling to Daytona Beach for the Daytona State Invitational beginning Friday with the final round slated for Sunday.
