Big night for volleyball team

Tonight is setting up to be a big night for the Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team.

The Titans host Lake Sumter in a key Mid-Florida Conference match with postseason aspirations in the balance. It will also be the final home match for nine sophomores and will be recognized following the match.

Among the sophomores are Kylie Hurst, Delaney Smith and Barbara Cabo Grubisic who have started every match this season. Smith is seventh in the state in digs with 267 this season while Grubisic is tied for eighth in setter assists with 482. Hurst is in the to 20 in kills with 152.

Rachael Gunn comes into her final home match with 298 kills in her career. Also being recognized will be Austin Kopenski, Summer Magliochetti, Danee Smith, Lorrayne Silva an Jenna Barnak.

"I am very grateful for the contributions from each of these athletes in their time here. Together we have achieved some major milestones that will forever belong to this team," Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball coach Andrea Rasmussen said. "I can't wait to see where their next step will take them."
