The Eastern Florida State College baseball team defeated Drury University JV for the second straight night at Bruce Bochy Field.
Dye got his first start and allowed one run on five hits in 3 1/3 innings, striking out four. Wendel came in and retired 11 of the 13 batters he faced, striking out seven for his first win of the season.
Tied 1-1 in the third inning, Andres Ramos came up with two outs and hit a single, scoring two runs. The Titans added two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
The Titans open the Southern Conference play on Wednesday afternoon, traveling to Miami-Dade for a 2 p.m. game. Miami-Dade will be at Bruce Bochy Field this weekend for two games, Friday night at 6 p.m. and then the final game of the series Saturday at 1 p.m.
